What this site is

Mortal Shell II Wiki is a community resource covering Shells, weapons, bosses, mechanics, and walkthroughs for Cold Symmetry's Mortal Shell II. We are not affiliated with Cold Symmetry or Playstack. This is a fan project.

Who writes it

The wiki is maintained by an independent editor who plays the game, captures footage, and cross-checks every claim against official sources. Pre-release, much of the content is drawn from trailers and the first game — and it is clearly labelled as such, never presented as confirmed fact.

How we mark confirmation status

This is the core of the site. Instead of blending official facts with rumours, every entry carries one of these labels so you always know how reliable it is:

  • ✅ Official — Confirmed by the developer via official website, Steam, or Discord.
  • 🔬 Beta-tested — Personally verified in a Beta build. Version and test date noted.
  • 👁️ Trailer — Seen in a trailer, but system details are still unknown.
  • 📖 Prequel-based — Inferred from Mortal Shell (2020). To be verified after launch.
  • ❓ Unconfirmed — Circulating on forums without an official source. Not used as primary content.

Where our information comes from

Our sources, in order of authority:

  • Official developer channels — Steam store and news, official Discord, verified social accounts
  • Hands-on testing in Beta builds, with the version number and test date recorded
  • Official trailers, cited with a timestamp where relevant
  • The first Mortal Shell (2020), used only for clearly-labelled inference

Every article ends with a "Sources & verification" table listing the source, game version, and the date we last checked it.

Screenshots are captured in-game or taken from official press material. Trademarks and game assets belong to their respective owners. If you own rights to content used here and would like it removed, contact us via the contact page.
