Playstack’s release announcement gives a worldwide digital launch on three platforms:

What the Open Beta actually contains

The official Beta listing describes the opening section of the game: the Prologue and the first explorable region, roughly the opening three hours. It is an in-development slice, not a complete review of the retail map, Shell roster, boss order, or endgame.

Use the Beta to learn the feel of combat and to test whether your PC can run the build. Do not treat an unverified Beta route as a guaranteed retail walkthrough.

What reset when the full game launched?

The official Steam Beta information says the full Beta inventory reset. That included the temporary currency, weapons, Shells, and collectibles gathered in the test. The time spent learning the opening area may still be useful, but it is not permanent retail progression.

Two rewards were explicitly tied to Beta participation:

  • Playing the Beta unlocks the Flayed Harbinger cosmetic.
  • Progress beyond Marrow Keep unlocks an optional prologue skip for the full game.

The store listing does not say that Beta currency, equipment, or map completion transfers. This page therefore does not promise a save transfer.

Devout and Revered editions

The official edition messaging gives the Devout Edition up to 72 hours of advanced access before the general release. It also advertises the Obsidian skin set for all eight playable Shells. The Revered Edition is a physical collector package for PlayStation 5 with an artbook, steelcase, fine-art prints, and digital extras.

Edition contents and early-access timing can be store-specific. Check the store where you intend to buy before assuming that an item, platform, or access window applies everywhere.

A safe retail-first route

When collecting a retail guide, record the current build version before writing down any numbers. Then verify:

  1. Which Shells are available at the start and how the retail opening differs from the Beta.
  2. Whether the prologue skip is visible after the Marrow Keep condition is met.
  3. Which Beta observations still match the retail combat and equipment rules.
  4. The actual costs, upgrade conditions, boss rewards, and map connections in the shipped build.

The game is marketed as an interconnected open world with eight playable Shells, sidearms, and combat that is not restricted by stamina. Those are official pillars; they are not a substitute for a retail build route or a complete stat table.
