Will Mortal Shell II Open Beta progress carry over to release?

Short answer

Partially. The Open Beta does not transfer your full save into the 1.0 release. Currency, weapons, Shells, collectibles, and other items found in the beta reset at launch.

What does carry is limited and intentional:

1. Play the Open Beta -> unlock The Flayed Harbinger cosmetic in the full game
2. Progress beyond Marrow Keep -> unlock the option to skip the Prologue at launch

Official carry-over rules

Full save progress

To preserve the balance of the full release, beta save progress will not carry over in full. Currency, weapons, Shells, collectibles, and other items discovered during the Open Beta will reset at launch.

That means you should treat beta inventory as temporary. Farming materials or perfecting a beta loadout will not preserve those items into 1.0.

Cosmetic reward

Play the Mortal Shell II Open Beta to unlock The Flayed Harbinger, an exclusive cosmetic reward available to claim in the full game at launch.

This is an exclusive cosmetic, not a gameplay power advantage.

Prologue skip

Players who progress beyond the Marrow Keep will also unlock the option to skip the Prologue in the full game.

If your goal is a faster launch-day start, prioritize reaching and passing Marrow Keep during the beta.
